Both sides had chances to win the game but it was superb defending from both sides that ensured the points were shared after an entertaining encounter. The Evo-Stick Division One side opened the scoring in the first minute through Marvin Johnson but were pegged back as James Knott scored for Massey after the visiting keeper spilled a Shane Brassington free-kick. In the second half Massey took the lead through Phil Chesters superb volley, however Romulus equalised with only ten minutes remaining before a last minute winner consigned Massey to a 4th straight defeat.
