Welcome To The Massey Ferguson Football Club Website Latest News Massey Ferguson 2:3 Romulus Massey Ferguson were denied a second win of pre-season by two goals in the final ten minutes of their game against Romulus. The Evo-Stick Division One side opened the scoring in the first minute through Marvin Johnson but were pegged back as James Knott scored for Massey after the visiting keeper spilled a Shane Brassington free-kick. In the second half Massey took the lead through Phil Chesters superb volley, however Romulus equalised with only ten minutes remaining before a last minute winner consigned Massey to a 4th straight defeat. Team Coach The
first team coach would be expected to attend all first team matches and
training sessions. Match day responsibilities would centre on the
pre-match warm-up and post-match cool-down. At training sessions the
focus would be on ensuring the players maintain peak physical condition,
this position will report directly to the first-team manager and it is
expected the successful candidate will work closely with the management
team when devising training schedules. The
ideal applicant would hold the Football Associations Level 2 Certificate
in coaching football and would have previous experience of working in
senior football, however all candidates will be considered. Match-Day
Physiotherapist The
match-day physiotherapist will be required to attend all Massey Ferguson
matches. The role will involve working closely with the players on a
match day which includes conducting pre-match fitness tests, delivering
treatment to players during the game and working with players after the
game to aid with injury prevention. The physiotherapist will also have
some involvement in the warm-ups and cool-downs before and after games. The
ideal applicant would hold an industry recognised qualification and have
some relevant experience. The role might prove ideal for a
work-experience student looking to gain experience in the field of
